    Khwaja Garib Nawaz of Ajmer came

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti first came to Ajmer in 1190. At this time Ajmer was ruled by King Prithviraj Chauhan. When Hazrat garib Nawaz reached Ajmer with his companions, Khwaja made his place under the shadow of a peda in a place outside the city of Ajmer.
